Vanderveen Department Store is located in the middle of the cultural heart of Assen, about a 3-minute walk from the nearest bus stop (on the Oostersingel) and within walking distance of all tourist attractions. With more than 22,000 CDs and 8.000 LPs in stock, music lovers can indulge themselves in the music department on the 1st floor. You will also find a wide range of merchandise here, so if you want a T-shirt of your favorite artist, you can find it in the Music department.
Sports enthusiasts will find what they need at the Intersport Vanderveen department, also on the 1st floor. Associations also come to us for their team wear. With us you will also find replicas of national and international clubs, and we are the only ones in Assen that carries the RedBull & Castore clothing line.
For the little ones, besides the Baby and Kids Shop (on the ground floor), there is also a spacious toy department with 1000m² of toys. Adjacent to the toy department there is a mini Ballorig at Societea (on the 1st floor) where the youngest can play and the parents can have a snack and a drink.
